Role Overview:

Fennec Services is seeking reliable carpenters and labourers for short-term project work across residential, commercial and remote sites. These roles offer high pay rates, immediate starts and flexible arrangements (casual, contract or short-term fixed). You will join a small, supportive crew that values safe, efficient workmanship and professionalism. Multiple vacancies available; both experienced carpenters and general labourers encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out carpentry tasks, including framing, fixings, fit-outs, trim and remedial finishes (carpenters)

• Read and work to plans, specifications and supervisor instructions to deliver works to scope and quality standards

• Set out work and ensure finished work meets dimensional and quality requirements

• Operate hand and power tools, and small plant safely and responsibly

• Work independently or as part of a team, following directions from site supervisors and project managers

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Qualified carpenter or demonstrable trade experience (for carpenter roles)

• Previous experience as a labourer on construction, renovation or site development projects (for labourer roles)

• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and instructions

• Competent with hand and power tools; experience with small plant or equipment advantageous

• Current relevant tickets and licences preferred (e.g. white card, elevated work platform, forklift)

• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to remote sites

• Physically fit, reliable and able to work extended shifts on remote projects

• Good communication skills and a practical, problem-solving approach
