Experienced Carpenter Position

On the back of successful construction projects executed by our can-do team, Fennec Services has been awarded a number of projects across Queensland, from Brisbane through to far north Queensland. As a result, we are looking to grow our team with the addition of experienced carpenters who have a drive for success and a can-do attitude. 

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned carpenter to bring expertise and leadership to our projects in and across Queensland. In this role, you will join an existing team of carpenters and construction workers who like to have a go, appreciate hard work and challenges, and enjoy the satisfaction of building stuff!

We are based on the sunshine coast, but we have projects starting right now in Brisbane, and other projects across Queensland. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead carpentry projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and exceed their expectations.
• Utilise your skills in material estimation and project planning.
• Maintain standards of craftsmanship and adhere to safety protocols.
• Contribute to business development by building solid client relationships.
• Stay updated on industry trends and carpentry techniques.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a qualified carpenter with a comprehensive understanding of residential and commercial carpentry.
• Ability to work autonomously, and make things happen
• Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and capability to perform demanding tasks when needed.
• the ideal candidate is available to travel as work requires.
