About the Role We're seeking a skilled, hard-working carpenter to join our team in South East Queensland. This is a demanding permanent role that rewards excellence with premium pay rates ($70K-$80K plus super) well above industry standard. While primarily based in South East QLD, occasional interstate work comes up roughly every couple of months.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute general carpentry works to high standards
- Manage projects independently
- Interact professionally with clients
- Perform material take-offs and quantity estimations
- Contribute to project planning and scheduling
- Regular remote work available with uplifts
- Work with industry specialists and be part of an elite team who get in and get the job done!
- New builds, large renovations, modular housing installation and shed construction are some of the jobs you would be exposed to
Required Skills & Experience
- Certificate III in Carpentry with minimum 12 months experience
- Qualified carpenter with proven experience in residential and/or commercial projects
- Demonstrated ability to run small jobs autonomously
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanour
- Experience with material estimation and take-offs
- Valid carpentry qualifications and relevant tickets
- Physical fitness and ability to perform demanding work
