Our company has been working closely with an architectural firm developing innovative designs for the building sector.  We have a number of projects scheduled to commence in the coming months and we are eager to welcome a talented and motivated engineer to support our continuing growth.

Role Overview:

The Project Engineer position is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate, or even an undergraduate who is eager to make an impact in the industry and doesn't mind getting their hands dirty. You will be an integral part of our team working alongside our licensed builder and our Registered Engineer (RPEQ) supporting the successful introduction of our innovative designs into the industry.  This role will be responsible for providing additional technical support to review designs, conduct engineering structural analyses, and to support project delivery in terms of quality and compliance.  There will be opportunities to also strap on the tool belt and help the crews on site. This role provides a perfect platform for career development within a collaborative and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the analysis and design of civil and structural engineering projects.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to develop structural models and drawings.
• Support the preparation of technical reports and project documentation.
• Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and ensure construction compliance.
• Utilise engineering software tools to perform calculations and create simulations.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Ideally the candidate will be based in South East Queensland or Northern NSW
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Experience in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality engineering outcomes.
• Enthusiasm for learning and adapting in a fast-paced environment.
